Today I restarted. From scratch. I never have allowed my photography to be a personal space, just one for sharing my art.  However, in that process I spent 14 years never getting to do this full-time.  So as we wind down 2025 and go into 2026 I'm doing things a little differently, and the first 100 people who schedule get to be a part of that journey.  I'm going to be doing portraits everywhere because I've never been someone to just stay in one place.  I live both in Morocco, Africa and here in the states and that journey is not an easy one...but if you know anything about long-distance marriage it's a sacrifice that has to be done.  

     Right now, my availability in the states is from now through the end of December 2025, and then again in May-end of July 2026.  Once the 100 sessions are on my schedule, I'll be opening up my main pricing which will have options for just digitals or a way to pre-purchase packages to include your digitals for free.  This is a great option for those who would like to have their art on their walls and in their hands and not just downloaded into an online album.  Plus, it puts me more at ease as well since I've had corrupted files before. I'm a huge advocate for printing your art.  Plus, in my opinion, families should have their photos on their walls.  I think it's important.

     When not in the states, I'm hoping to help build the tourism market in Morocco with offering elopements, portraits, and art for tourists from all over the globe and hopefully getting some of my art in local restaurants in Morocco as well.  Some call it crazy, but I call it a big dream that can absolutely 1000% be achieved.  If you'd like to see the art from my Morocco travels, you can always look on my website for that as I do have prints available as well, and are shipped worldwide.  That is www.joymaaouad.com.

     Lastly, I'll be doing pop-up portraits at places I travel to here in the states so who knows, you may just run into me for those events and have an opportunity for 2-3 complimentary photos with the option to purchase prints on my website.  If you're in the Mid-Michigan area, I'll be seeing you soon for sure as that's where I'll be starting!  Also, it's homecoming season so if you need portraits just send me an inquiry!
