First off, hello!  Welcome!  I'm Joy, the face of JOY Photography!

Life has had its ups and downs, but I’m still here and still going after life for the one thing I want to do and that is photography.  I’ve been serving the Mid-Michigan area (hello Clare, Beaverton, Harrison, Farwell, Midland, Saginaw, Mount Pleasant, and Bay City!) primarily over the last year, but I also do travel to any location or destination of choice.  I do outdoor sessions on location, and also indoor sessions within your own home where we set up everything that you can need for your portraits making sure you’re in a space that is beautiful and wonderful and comfortable for you.  While I am primarily all-inclusive I do have beautiful products available for sale for those with a luxury view, and can even show you exactly what the art will look like for your walls.  If you want to do a personal ordering session with me in person or over Zoom, we can definitely discuss that at the time of scheduling your session.

Speaking of going on location, this means I travel all over the USA and abroad.  I spend a lot of time in Morocco, so if you’re ever vacationing, please feel free to message me if you’ll be visiting and I’d love to help capture beautiful photos for you there.

When away from my camera, where you can usually find me is working on school work (going to college again for business) as well as hanging out with my boys, reading, or traveling.  I love being outdoors and getting to experience new places and cultures.
